How To Automate Microsoft Word From Visual Basic
The basics of VBA is simple but the overall language is huge if you consider all the object models (Word, Excel, Access.etc) it supports. The book I mentioned is over 700 pages long. I have an Excel VBA book that is 500 pages and it doesn'tcover everything. The VBA documentation link I provided is very comprehensive but it doesn't cover everything. Even if you had a book that covered every command it still wouldn't tell you how to put the commands together to do everything you wantto do. Even after 15 years of working with VBA I still find I don't know how to do something and have to Google/Bing for help. I would start a small project and see how it goes.
